The ISP is having a problem with resolving internet names correctly. It's been intermittent for the last 3 days, solid apparently for the last 24 hours, but things appear to be working again. Let's hope they stay that way.

The database itself was fine, it just couldn't be found!

I will try to find some internet access late tomorrow evening to check up on things again.

Might as well note that there was (and still is) one legitimate error of mine in all this -- one of the two links to the "Terms of Service" on the site's home page (http://www.overseasbrats.net) is incorrectly formatted.

My bad.

I probably won't be able to fix it for a couple weeks.

After a lot of back & forth with the ISP, the database error finally appears to be fixed.

Sorry for all the hassles, especially given that it occurred as I made a big push through the OAS contact list. Hopefully nobody was permanently discouraged.

Note that the bad "Terms of Service" link won't be fixed until I'm home from vacation.
