This is just a quick attempt to set down some guidelines for those who can't wait to get started.

This is not an anonymous forum. You must register with your real name -- not necessarily your real name today but with the actual name you used when you attended school as an overseas/military brat. If you have a common name that someone has already registered, use some recognizable variant of it to register and indicate your actual name in your profile.

Overseas schools attended and years of attendance should be indicated in your profile.

Avoid controversial subjects, especially politics.

No spamming, no advertising, no self-promotion, no gratuitous linking to commercial sites. Some exceptions will be made for reunions and brats' organizations, but no personal promotion will be allowed.

No profanity, no pornography, no exceptions. If it's not appropriate for someone's 8 or 10 year old, it doesn't belong here.
